Chelsea switch focus to Europe

Chelsea have been in fine form this season and have followed from their European triumph in May where they defeated Premier League rivals Manchester City 1-0.

They currently sit at the summit of the Premier League table, three points clear of Liverpool and with a better goal difference after an easy 3-0 win at Newcastle on Saturday.

Another win is very much expected on Tuesday against Malmo who have failed to score in three games and look consigned to finish bottom of the group.

Boss happy with Blues' start

Tuchel says his team are in a very healthy position but is refusing to take anything for granted heading into their fourth match of this season's Champions League.

"We are in a good place," said the former PSG boss. "We know what it takes to have these kind of results, the effort we put into it. At the same time, we set the standards that we set in every match so tomorrow we start again from scratch.

"Malmo maybe need an extraordinary performance and they will prepare for this. Any team at his level is able to create an extraordinary performance so we should be prepared, humble, and respectful towards the game because anything can happen."

Tuchel confirmed that Mason Mount would not be available due to a continuation of the illness which prevented him from playing on Saturday while Romelu Luakaku, Timo Werner, and Mateo Kovacic remain on the sidelines.
